What Technology did you learn to use? After my android broke I had to get a new camera. There was the thought of just getting the same model of phone, but I decided against it. While there was other benefits of getting the same model of android, I had to switch to apple. The camera of  iPhone's offer better quality. Apps support apple more than android, so the camera quality of posted videos tend to be better. Learning how to use a iPhone was tricky, but I was fine at the end of the day. There was also getting used to Capcut after only using it once in the past. I was a bit rusty. I couldn't do what I really wanted to do, but I pushed through. What did you learn about putting a project together? Easy. Don't procrastinate. Make yourself a timeline of what you wanted to do. Work around your other works. Make time of the day. Do all of this, just don't procrastinate. because you'll plan to do one thing, but then actually do another. Even if you don't procrastinatio

It’s a new week. The sun is bright and perky. It's the weekend and I’m free of the tight clutches of school. The clouds were dark and murky. It wasn't raining to the point of hurricane status. It was the perfect day to film. I went outside to film myself basking in the sunlight at noon, and filmed myself playing with the pool water. I lowkey, really hate the beach (who likes sand?). But if someone had a CLEAN pool in their yard I would be ready to party. Before I go too much into pools, let's move on. I took some pictures here and there. One of the young men. Another, in me posing in my pajamas. And finally another, of nature. While I may not want to be a photographer or do anything in bio, I really like the way nature runs and how pretty it looks . I’m choosing between a photo of that, or a small video, whatever it may be.   After collecting all I needed to do, we moved on to editing. The video of me going to the couch is the intro.   Hello, once again. So here's the next update on the video about me. To be honest I'm ready to slap this baby together and get it over with. But spoilers, today it rained. That cut some of my plans. Sucks, but I can do it tomorrow or whenever. I just wanted to wait until noon to get the sun at its peak. If the sun’s at its brightest, everything just automatically looks better. Including me (I’m joking but not really). Moving on, I put on my pajamas, because I felt like it best represents me. Not like I actually wear them, they just look cute. It’s a onesie, with deers scattered around it. Anyways, I put those on and got recording. I turned the video on and recorded me sitting on the couch, just to set up the intro.   I was excited to start my project today, but despite my feelings, a tragedy struck. My phone was brutally destroyed. This is not an exaggeration, the extent of the damage is actually laughable. First, numerous cracks litter the screen (ever-growing due to my clumsy hands). Next, was the water damage. The screen is fine in the beginning, but as the phone is used, it progressively gets worse. It’s like my phone is melting inside- out. Obviously, I cant use something like that to record, so now I'm on hiatus waiting on a new recording device. What’s most likely going to happen is I'll go from an Android user to an iPhone user. iPhone 's are supported by most apps, so I’ll most likely have better camera quality. Since I can't focus on recording yet, I can look for an editing app. Most apps I reach either cost money or I don't have access to. I decided to try not to go for super advanced editing apps and for something more beginner-friendly. All these factors left me w

I plan to have a small video of me going to sit on the couch before introducing myself. I’ll do this to try to create a relaxed casual atmosphere for the viewer and myself. It will make it easier for me to act naturally, you will not have to see me act like a robot. The next video will cut into me drinking either water or cola. I am an avid supporter of water. I find that it tastes better than any drink you could have. It gets undeserved hate for having 'no flavor', on the contrary, the flavor is 'refreshing'. Stay hydrated! If not water, Coke. Coke is better than any other soft drink available. I'll stand by that.  Another video would be either me cooking or eating Chick-fil-A. I love making myself a breakfast sandwich, composed of biscuits, bacon, egg, and cheese. Chick-fil-A is my favorite fast-food place.  Hello, my name is Mya Julien. I am an 11th grader at Fort Lauderdale Highschool. At the time of this blog, I'm at the romanticized age of 16. I'm the youngest in the family and pretty shy, so I'm not too excited to see how Junior year is going to bet. They call it the 'worse year' for a reason.  To add 'flavor' to such 'basic' information, I'm Haitian American, part of the LGBTQ+ community. Now people can take that information and do whatever they want with it, yet I'll always be proud of my identity.  On another note, I love music. I can't function long-term without it. Everything I do requires my headphones. For example, Homework, working out, walking, running, typing this blog... You get the point.
