Technical Difficulties!
I was excited to start my project today, but despite my feelings, a tragedy struck. My phone was brutally destroyed. This is not an exaggeration, the extent of the damage is actually laughable. First, numerous cracks litter the screen (ever-growing due to my clumsy hands). Next, was the water damage. The screen is fine in the beginning, but as the phone is used, it progressively gets worse. It’s like my phone is melting inside- out. Obviously, I cant use something like that to record, so now I'm on hiatus waiting on a new recording device. What’s most likely going to happen is I'll go from an Android user to an iPhone user. iPhone 's are supported by most apps, so I’ll most likely have better camera quality.
Since I can't focus on recording yet, I can look for an editing app. Most apps I reach either cost money or I don't have access to. I decided to try not to go for super advanced editing apps and for something more beginner-friendly. All these factors left me with one obvious choice. I decided to go back to an old friend, CapCut. CapCut is a free- mobile app that is accessible to everyone. I only said it once in the past, but I was able to adapt very quickly. It has the basic editing tools that are easy to work with. In addition, it has built-in fonts and audio that can work well with the visual aspect of the project.
