Started Filming



Hello guys, here is another update. So I've begun the filming process, which is good. It was a day off of school, so I had extra time to get everything.

For the first scene, I waited until it was dark out to record it. I did that to capture that early morning feel. Or the 'I-hate-mornings' look. What I could've done is woke up earlier to capture that feeling at it's true esscence but I would rather...not. Instead, I waited until it was night time. It was a little embrasssing, considering my room has not been updated since i was 9, but I got over it. Just had to tidy up a bit, so while it looked clean, it still looked lived in. You know? The best part of this section was filming in clothes that literally lookd like I rolled out of bed.

(P.S. Might as well say that the wallsin my room are pink. Just to throw that out there and get it over with.)

I couldn't get the angle right, a tad frustarting, and it looked a bit awkward. As a solution I used another angle, with my phone propped by the TV. Depending on how it looks during the editing process, I'll keep one or the other. Maybe both, I don't know.

The next scene was me in my bathroom, doing the 'early morning routine'. I filmed myself brushing my teeth, and washing my face. Nothing special.

^ I promise my editing is not that intricate.   This blog will be pretty straight to the point. I didn't make a lot of significant progress with my editing just yet. Nonetheless, here is what I did so far. First, I of course logged into Capcut to make a new project. Annoyingly, my phone was overloaded in storage, so before I could get further into editing, I had to clear my phone. Either it was me, or the fact that iPhones profit off of extra storage, it was a long process.  I put the scenes in sequential order. I started from the outside shot to the backyard scene. The scenes where it rapidly switched from me speaking to my inner voice were difficult to put in proper order. I kept getting the order confused and overthinking it.
