A Pat On The Back
I never realized that Capcut completely destroys your battery. 10 minutes of editing and i was 5 percent down. Like?
Regardless, here's the final update before the big day. D-Day. Whatever. Predictable, I didn't get everything done. Not enough to meet my last blog's goals
But.
But. I did make enough progresss to go from barely 5 second to a whopping 40+ seconds. That right there deserves a pat on the back. I made some drastic changes. The POV I thought I filmed right turned out to be vertical, so that sucked, I can't have my MV turning into a youtube short in the middle of it, can I? I'll think of someting else.
It's important to check your results after filming to see if you get the shot correctly. Lesson learned.
I wont spoil too much but here is what happened:
During editing, I added a filter labeled "film", and sure enough it did it's job. The video went from 1080pf with normal colors to 1080 pf with tinted colors. Sounds medicore when I put it that way but it makes a difference. The yellow tint gives it a 'film' look. An 'indie' look. Hence the name and the genre of the video. The lyrics I put into the bottom were also yellow colored, fitting my vision of what this MV was going to look like. I once again pat myself on the back.
To randomly get specific, on a certain part I alternated between the morning and night bus rides, where I was doing the same action. It looked cool to see. And then when I did the shots of the cars ourside, I copied these shots and put them into reverse. Giving the affect of what happened, became undone, or cycled. This fits into the "watercolor blur" in the lyrics. I was just trying to show of the life of repetiveness in my MV.
On another note, it's funny to say turns out this MV will have more jumpcuts that any other mandatory shots/angles.
Whoops
